TL;DR

  • 📦 ETB, BB, BOBU are just names for box sizes
  • 💬 A few codes mean two different things. Read the context
  • 🔤 Set codes have their own page

Sealed product

  • ETB, Elite Trainer Box. Packs, sleeves, dice, and the box everyone stacks
  • BOBU, Booster Bundle. Six packs, no extras
  • BB. Usually Booster Box. Sometimes Booster Bundle, and Black Bolt has started claiming it too. Check the price before you commit
  • B&B, Build & Battle. The Stadium version is the bigger one
  • UPC, Ultra Premium Collection. Top of the range, usually with promos
  • PC. Premium Collection, or Pokémon Center the retailer. Context decides
  • ex Box, blister (2 pack, 3 pack, checklane), tins (mini, Poké Ball, stacking)

Words you will see in an alert

  • MSRP is what the publisher suggests. Market is what people actually pay
  • LCS, local card shop. The 150+ independents we track
  • OOS, out of stock
  • ATC, add to cart
  • 1P is sold by the retailer itself. 3P is a third party seller on their site

Other games

OP is One Piece, MTG is Magic, YGO is Yu-Gi-Oh. Riftbound gets called RB in passing but has no settled short form, and its sets go by three letter codes like ORI for Origins. Those lanes stay off until you pick the role.
