- Set a budget before you start. This hobby is addictive and a server full of restock alerts makes spending easier, not harder.
- Collect what you actually like, not (just) what is hot. Hot is how people end up with a shelf they feel nothing about
- Recommend picking a focus or goal. One set, one Pokémon, one product type.
- Buy sleeves, top loaders and storage before you need them. Your local card shop (LCS) has them affordably or purchase from one of our partners (EvoRetro)
